Irig Stream issue with Instagram

Hello, I have an Android phone and when I plug the Irig Stream to make videos offline, I have no issues, as the sound comes from the external source into the phone, via iRig.

When I try to broadcast live, the issue is that the sound is captured from the phone microphone instead of the irig... so it's pretty much useless to use it while doing lives.

Any solution?

Thanks, but it says Irig recorder 3 is not available to download as it was created for an earlier version of Android.

You can use other audio apps for Android that are compatible with your device or probably best to contact IK Support as suggested at the bottom of the FAQ if that FAQ doesn't help resolve your issue. Thank you.

Thanks, but it's too much hassle... This product is marketed to help people streaming live using an external source (dj mixer or whatever)... but the reality is:

1) It doesn't work while streaming, only offline
2) The proprietary suggested app (irig recorder) is not available for android.

Can you suggest other android apps that may be similar to irig recorder (leave Dolby on as it can't be used for IG streaming).

Make sure the app you’re using for live streaming has permission to use the external audio source. Go to your phone’s Settings > Apps > [Your App] > Permissions and ensure that microphone access is allowed.
