Musical album "A... New Stories From An Old Book..."

Postby YashinTracks » Wed Mar 17, 2021 6:20 pm

Hello to all users of IK Multimedia products!
The main part of the album "A... New Stories From An Old Book..." (except for the last two songs - 2019 and 1998) was created by me in 1994-1995. It was based on the texts of old ballads, as well as poems by poets of Great Britain and Ireland of the 18th and 19th centuries (Robert Louis Stevenson, Walter Scott, George Gordon Byron, Thomas Moore, etc.).
The final mastering was done in the T-RackS 5 program!

P.S. The final mastering was done in the T-RackS 5 program - modified preset "Sparkle" from set: T-RackS Legasy Classic Only.
Good Luck

Hey Mikhail,

Previewed the album….that must have been a massive undertaking! The original recordings from the ’90’s had to be excellent already before the added “sparkle” from T-RackS 5. Large palette of instruments that sound great and the mix is really good.

Excellent stuff, thanks for sharing on the forum!

Oh, I didn't notice at first that you're Russian because I just looked through your description. I know many talented Russian people that make excellent music, and you're not an exception. You did a very nice job!
Also, I love how you created this cover, I am keen on these things, and I also love to make covers through music album cover maker. You're very creative, and this image from the album has a big potential. Have you made it yourself, or is there someone who can do such a great cover for you?

Thank you so much for your warm feedback on my humble work,
Michael! I'm sorry I didn't answer right away. Please note that the album is a concept album and each track is linked to the previous and subsequent tracks. Let me remind you that all the details are the lyrics (in English), the CD cover, and so on (including the words of the host in the pauses between the songs) You can find it at this link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/93cxnbocb6gv ... 0iwMa?dl=0

Thank you for your feedback! It is pleasant to communicate with people who judge a person by his deeds and do not pay attention to the excessive politicization of everything that happens in our troubled world. The cover art for the music album was made by myself in the most popular graphic editor ( I think you can guess which one). The graphic work "The Guinness Book of Records" was taken as a basis"

Unfortunately, the streaming link doesn’t run on my computer for some reason. I need to find some music to add to my playlist ASAP. The reason for that is that I’m in charge of organizing a small corporate party this weekend. We are planning to gather in our office. But, none of my colleagues share the same music taste with me.
I’ve already found some corporate stock music to play, but I think it’s not enough. I’m looking for some recommendations for some good old songs from the ‘90s and ‘00s so everyone at my office would enjoy them. Maybe you know some cool hits from those times to heat up everybody?
