New track "Good Times", it's back to basic rock 'n' roll

Postby CrazySchmidt » Sun Jul 06, 2025 7:15 am

Hey guys, I've been working on this one for a while (nothing new there), I wanted to keep this one simple, like getting back to simple chord arrangements if you know I mean, nothing fancy other than good fun rock 'n' roll riffs.

I hope you appreciate where I'm coming from with this and I hope you enjoy the listen. :)

Oh BTW, C'mon you single post AI mofo's, please tell me how "good" this song is and how "good times" is all about "rock n roll" and feeling groovy. What an "amazing arrangement" and "production" this song has besides having a "basic rock n roll riff".

Cheers, CS :)

Walking through the night, where the lights are low,
Feel the rhythm rise feel the Rock n Roll,
My hearts on fire, with that burning desire,
Tonight we soar, higher and higher.
Oooh baby on fire.

Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll

Rockin' to the band with a drink in my hand,
I can feel the rock n roll taking control,
The girls are hot in their pants so tight,
Gotta bag me a hottie by the end of the night.
Oooh baby tonight.

Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll

Solo and bridge stuff...

Oooh, Good times and rock n roll...

Oh c'mon baby, you knew what this was!

Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll

Crusin on my Harley under clear blue skies,
Wind screaming past as the miles fly by,
Got the rhythm of the road, the roar of steel,
Living in the moment, chasing what’s real.
Oooh baby that's right!

Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll
Good times and rock n roll

Hey CS,

Really dig the tune. As I stated in the comments for "Good Times" on Soundcloud, that intro messed with my head. Where you placed the 1 in the riff is so very cool.

Lets try to keep this forum rocking.

Hi Dan,

Yeah, you know what, I needed that comment and thank you brother, I was heading down a "let's give up" path rather than a "let's fix this" path which is my bad and not generally my way of thinking.

C'mon, let's keep this forum rocking guys, share what you've got, even if it's just one.

Cheers, CS. :)

Hi CS,

I am with you. This might be the lean times in song posts but if we all keep at it and support each other, the forum will grow again.

Keep 'em coming
