Just in case some may have not heard this, more sad news for guitar world.
He definitely had some significant health problems, but kept on going right to the end. I would think he was probably one the most underrated and least talked about guitar player ever, something he did not deserve.
It is unreal the amount of highly respected guitarists and musicians he played with and was respected by.
I was always amazed watching larger than life Leslie playing that little Les Paul jr, but could he make that guitar talk and sing. Incredible feel and melodic solos with that killer sound that everyone that listened to it fell into a trance.
Guess my age is showing here, but he was one of my main guys i learned to play and sound like, actually still do to some degree.
