Question/Wish: Nickname in the IK forums?

Hope this is the right place ...

Is there a way to use a nickname in these forums? If no: May I wish a way to do it?

I know there are cons to it, such as peole using overly programmatic or provocative nicks. My reasons are rather practical:

1. My user name is part of my account credentials, and as a day-time IT guy, I tend to be a bit paranoid about such things.
2. My user name contains my last name, and I'd love to be called by first name among musicians.
3. If it was only for reason 2, I could also change my user name, which I might do but I am lazy too.

Your Account name is the same as your forum name, as you have seen.

You can change it here:. And crank up your password to be something complex.

But, please also raise this with Sales / Account Support, as, I agree, it is a bit of a weakness. Via this link: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/
