iRig PRE HD with Twitter

Hello I'm pulling my hair out here :) I'm want to use my iRig PRE HD to connect mic or MacBook via XLR to twitter spaces. I'm able to get audio no probs into iPhone apps such as iRig Recorder, GarageBand, VocalLive etc. but as soon as I start a twitter space the app defaults to the built in mic. Please help me !

The iRig Pre HD is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and is coated in a slightly rubberized, black coating that prevents it slipping ...

Make sure the Tuner is not turned on, and the Mute button is not lit in the Tuner section.
