How to connect iRig HD2 to ipad air 2020 (4th gen)

Hi,

I'm going to buy a new ipad Air 10.9 2020 which comes with Usb-C connecter. Up till now I was using iPad Air 2019 with lighting connecter and everything was working great.

Which cable should I use now?

1. Buy a new micro usb to usb-C and connect the iRig to iPad using it?
2. Buy iPad Air (4th gen) Camera adapter which has regular USB 2.0 connecter and connect iRig to the camera adapter and the camera adapter to the iPad?
3. Buy Lightning to Usb-C adapter and use the iRig micro-Usb to Lightning with it?

I purchased a micro usb to usb-C cable from Amazon and it works great.

I also purchased a micro usb to usb-C cable from Amazon and it works great - with [mod edit - a different app]. But Amplitube doesn’t seem to recognize it at all - it just prompts me to connect a guitar. None of the options I’ve tried worked.

I had this working fine with my old, Lightning-port iPad with the OEM cable.

I can’t imagine how [another app] can see it but Amplitube can’t. What can I try?
