Delete preset from Favorites ("clear" button)

Postby rockbandguy » Mon Mar 16, 2020 1:53 pm

Hi,

maybe this is simple but I couldn't get to figure it out:

I have the presets in AmpliTube.
And I can add presets to the Favorites, by selecting a preset and then pressing the Favorites button I want to assign it to.

Overwrite works this way, too.

But how do I clear a Favorites button, when I don't want to assign another preset?
How do I delete it from that button?

Best, Adrian

You would need to replace it with another preset.

Thx for the answer but that is not what I need at the moment.

I have the first 8 favorites set and the (by accident) set two other Presets at pos. 38/39.
I want to clear those.
Because I now have Blueboard, too, and it cycles through the banks.
And those "runaway presets" make it more than incomfortable.

To me as a programmer not to implement the clearance of a favorite is a bug.

Do I have to re-install?
Does this work?

I'm not sure that would work, but you'd still need to cycle through empty presets if you cleared one. Favorites are meant to be filled so you can quickly switch to presets and not have empty presets to go through.

You can add your feature request to the official wishlist thread for AmpliTube iOS and you can also seek official and direct deeper tech support from the IK Support team via http://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support if necessary.

I'm wondering that also, because I would like to use midi on the same channel as another device that uses the first 10 numbers for its function, and I can use favorites 11 onward for amplitube on the same channel. So would never assign 1-10 favorites in amplitube and dont want to see them flashing by as the units reciev data. Think I'll create an "empty" preset, name it blank and inseert it in the first 10 spots. Best I could think of.
