iPad and Stomp I/O

It might be that I never worked out how to get the free software but...

I feel a bit frustrated that after buying the Stomp I/O pedal board which I use with an iPad Pro. I am then required to buy the updated effects, looper etc. I can get free software for a Mac book which I don't own but I get nothing for the iPad.

Am I missing something or is this the case?

That is for AXE I/O I have the stomp I/O floor pedal.
