Irig 2HD - Using Amp - No Sound on FX

Ok thanks, will give it a shot. I just find it odd that AmpliTube needs to be in the mix in order for it to work, when I purchased the irig I assumed it to be software neutral.

iRig HD 2 does not require AmpliTube or any other IK software to work. IK Support can help you.

I do have the same type of problem (no output sound of FX mode) with my iRig HD2 plugged in my iPad Pro.
It works fine with my old iPad 4th generation.
I have tried with exact same settings on both devices.
Any thoughts?

The iRig HD2 amp jack "FX" switch position does NOT work with AmpliTube CS for iPad version 4.11.0. There is no sound send out the amp jack.

The iRig HD2 amp jack "FX" switch position works with Tonebridge Guitar Effects version 2.3.8 on my iPad. Tonebridge is available on the Apple App Store.

It puzzles me why a 3rd party app like Tonebridge works in the "FX" position but AmpliTube CS for iPad does not.

iRig HD2 "FX" works with AmpliTube 5 for MacOS on my old 2009 iMac running High Sierra.

This proves its not the iRig HD2 hardware but some code problem with AmpliTube CS for iPad version 4.11.0.

I have a 3rd gen 2018 iPad pro running iPasOS 14.4.1 the latest.

IK Multimedia support got back to me
"... edit the NO FEEDBACK option in Menu -> Settings of AmpliTube.
This should correct this behavior..."

NO FEEDBACK available settings are: AUTO / ON / OFF
I changed setting to OFF and can now hear the processed sound in my amp with the switch in the FX position.
