I'm trying to install a SampleTank sound file product on a new system. From what I can tell it goes something like this:
IK --> Internet --> .zip file on my Win system --> unzipped to destination folder
Because these things are gigantic, I've set up SampleTank to look for the sound files on a separate drive. That seems to be where the individual .pak files are eventually placed.
The .zip file download, however, seems to go somewhere on my C: drive that I can't control. That causes some trouble because it's a directory that OneDrive watches and uploads automatically. The OneDrive cloud, though, doesn't have anywhere near enough space for theses multi-gigabyte files. So the installation never finishes. (FYI, the original system didn't use OneDrive so the installation there went fine.)
1) Is there a way I can control where the .pak files are stored by the product mgr?
2) If the process hangs and I kill the prod mgr, when it's restarted it seems to march through all the previously downloaded .zip files before getting to the newest ones. Is there a way to ignore the .zip files which have already been unzipped to the desired destination? Or could I just delete them before restarting the process?
Thanks for any help as I'm kind of stalled on the installation.
