ARC 4 'No Device Connected'

ARC 4 'No Device Connected'

Just got mine. I plugged it in, it was recognized, needed a firmware update, which I did, then ran Analysis just fine. Saved the analysis, turned on the connect button, ran ARC 4.

'NO DEVICE DETECTED'

Rebooted, tried different USB ports, still the same problem. I do not understand how it recognized it just fine for firmware and measurement, but now suddenly can't it can't be found.

Any ideas appreciated, thanks.

Hey All,

New Arc 4 user here- same thing happened to me this weekend. Unit had a lit power light, was detected on launch of the Arc 4 software - suggested a firmware update - firmware update failed - then the power light went out and now it won't turn on and cannot be detected.

Sounds to me like the firmware update bricked my brand-new device.

I've opened a ticket with support but - any idea what's going on here?
