[SOLVED] Lurssen Mastering Console unusable in reaper

I am trying to evaluate the demo version of Lurssen in reaper.

I add the mastering console to the master then play a midi loop in supperior drummer 3 and the internal clock becomes unstable (slows down then speeds up). If I bypass in Lurssen, the sound changes but the delay does not. If I disable the plugin the problem goes away.

My goal was to compare it to ezmix 2 which I have been running without issue

My computer resource use looks fine I have a quad i7 with 24 gigs of memory so I don't think it is the computer.

I will answer my own question, turns out it was my computer. A bad fan and broken heatsink clamp was causing my cpu to overheat. a couple new fans and a liquid cooling system later everything is working great.
