well just got the new mic and and 2.5 update
takes the guess work out mixed went to my car this is the first time its been perfect on one mix
in which I just played with it.
much much improved if your holding on to the original mic
do yourself a favor update
bass guess work gone etc im actually shocked it works

curious, how many measurements have you done?
do you have a subwoofer? did you include it in the measurements?

I did 12 measurements and yes I have a subwoofer
Like I said previous version and the old mic I would go to the car and the bass was to light to heavy etc. Im actually impressed I did one take mix went to car vocals drums everything perfect thats a first seriously.
i had the original mic so i credit either 2.5 new mic or def both

Excellent. Thanks a bunch. I haven't had too much of bass problems (with ARC 2.0), but I'm happy to hear, there is improvement with the new mic and 2.5. Can't wait to try it out.

yes I had the original mic and I dont know just seems more accurate this time

I can confirm, with the MEMS microphone, the bass response had been improved in my square-shaped room, since the last measurement I took a year ago with ARC 2 microphone. I took 16 measurements on a pair of Yamaha HS-5’s and Fluid Audio F8S subwoofer. I’m satisfied with the result.

Do you place it vertical, same as old mic?

No, it must be horizontal, the little square (before the Front) facing upwards (ceiling).
