Total Studio 3.5 MAX boxed/usb version questions?

If you get the boxed/usb version can you still use the Product Manager software to download updates? Is the usb drive required to always be plugged in as a "key" to run the software? Thanks.

A1 - I think so, yes.

A2 - no; the stick is just for installation. The software is authorized by Registering the Serial Number(s) that you have received, using the IK Product Manager |("IKPM").

NB: I think that all the sounds library install files are too big to fit on the USB stick so you may need to download some. After installing using the USB stick, have a look in the Sounds section of the IKPM and you should see which ones for each product are missing. If not, then contact Tech Support, via the IKM web site, for one to one guidance.
