Connection ERROR

Hey I NEED HELP PLS

I cant Visit the website from IK Multi..
i cant run the IK Product Manager it shows me up
"CONNECTION ERROR

Please check your Internet connection."

From my Mobilphone i can open the website download the Manager, but on my Imac Catalaina 10.15 is no chance to . I heard about same issue but no answer how i can fix it.

Terminal / Traceroute say this.

The site is up and not having any reported issues (you can also check with tools like https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ikmultimedia.com which shows it is up, we use this when people report they cannot get to our site).

Seems like something is routing your traffic to localhost instead of our site. Instances of modified HOSTS files are typically due to nefarious software so I'd recommend running a full virus and malware scan.

i checked out the virus scan. ITs all good. i dont know what the problem is. if i can't fix it i send the ARC back

To me it appears something altered your HOSTS file, this is not something ARC 3 would do nor the fault of ARC 3.

That screenshot does not show here you would need to upload it to something like imgur or similar and then post.

Remove any of the lines that refer to an IK site. Our software never changes your hosts file, but nefarious software can do this to try to circumvent our copy protection.
