Hi,
I don't seem to have understood the update options. Before updating from T-RackS 5 to T-RackS 6, I searched for the best update option for me on the IK Multimedia website and after a lengthy search in the FAQ I found the note “If you have purchased any modules for T-RackS previously, these will be available in the paid versions of T-RackS 6, T-RackS 6 PRO, and T-RackS 6 MAX immediately after authorization.”. I had purchased T-RackS 5 MAX in May 2024 and was of the opinion that I had purchased the included modules. Since I don't need any of the new T-RackS 6 modules, I bought an update to T-RackS 6. Now all the modules that I received with T-RackS 5 MAX in addition to my existing modules are locked or in demo mode. So I didn't buy any additional modules with T-RackS 5 MAX? I can't understand that.
Since I assumed that there was an error when activating the modules, I contacted support on January 26 using the form on the IK Multimedia website. To date, I have not received any feedback, not even a ticket number. On February 2nd, I contacted support again and asked if there was a way to change my update. I have not received any response to this request either.
Some time ago I did an update from AmpliTube 4 MAX to AmpliTube 5 in a similar way and all the modules I had in AmpliTube 4 MAX were then available in AmpliTube 5. Why does the update from T-Racks 5 MAX to T-Racks 6 suddenly work differently? I am quite frustrated. Using T-RackS 6, which is now missing many modules, makes little sense to me. I am considering whether I should stop using T-RackS and future updates and continue working exclusively with my numerous other plug-ins (UAD, FabFilter, Plugin Alliance, ...).
