Until recently, I was Producing 24-bit Wav files in my DAW (EnergyXT2.7 or EXT64), and importing them into T-Racks5 for processing. I would choose 24-bit in my T-Racks5 project settings, import and process the file and Export as 24-bit Wav. The file within my T-Racks5 Project/Audio directory would be created as a 24-bit Wav file, and the exported file is a 24-bit Wav.
Recently, I started using MuLab as a DAW. MuLab does not offer 24-bit Wav as an output format, so I have elected to create 24-bit FLAC audio files in MuLab.
I choose 24-bit in my T-Racks5 project settings, import and process the file and Export as 24-bit Wav. The exported file is a 24-bit Wav, but the file within my T-Racks5 Project/Audio directory is created as a 32-bit Wav file.
Should I be worried?
