License Transfer

Postby buggaluggs » Mon Jul 27, 2020 4:02 pm

Hello, first post here.

I have T-Racks 5 and a bunch of VSTs which I love. I have the stealth limiter and have no great need for the brickwall limiter. My wife has just started livestream for her church and the software they use will support VSTs. The brickwall limiter would be useful as they struggle with sound levels.

Can I uninstall my brickwall limiter from my DAW workstation and install on the Church computer? (Technically, it is my computer on loan). I have the original ser num.

The product is licensed for your personal use only.

The EULA includes:
The Product is only for your personal (individual) use. ... Any given license for the Product may not be shared or used concurrently or otherwise on different computers or by different users in a given organization.

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/legal/index.php?R=license-agreement

So, the meet the terms of the EULA you would need to get a Licence Transfer Credit and transfer the licence to your wife or to the Church (they would need to open their own IK Multimedia account).

But, please contact Sales Support who can look at your Account and may be able to do something. Response time normally is within 2 working days (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally), but in the current circumstances please allow some more time. Administrators and Moderators here cannot access your Account.

Sharing a licence would contravene the EULA and may get the licence cancelled for the original user.

You should contact Account Support about the Serial Number for your Blueboard.
