Hi,
I picked up SampleTank sometime last year and installed a bunch of the content - however I've just picked up a new drive and would rather the installation go there.
It also seems in the meantime that a fair few sound packs have either not installed correctly initially or have just disappeared into the ether lol, so my plan is to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of everything to do with IK Multimedia, this time on my new drive. For reference, I'm on Windows 11.
Firstly - I know how to uninstall the actual plugins through Control Panel on Windows, that's not a problem. However, with the sound packs/content, what's the procedure there?
Also, when installing stuff through the Product Manager, I have the option to install 4 different versions of SampleTank 4: SE, MAX, CS, and just the "regular" 4. Is all the contents of the others contained within MAX, or do I need to install all of the parts individually to get everything? The same is true of Miroslav Philarmonik 2 - should I just be installing the 57GB "2", or do I also need the CE version?
In a similar vein to the above, what else exactly does SampleTank MAX (or other sound packs) cover? There are a good 100+ things to download in the "sounds" tab on Product Manager. If I install everything one by one, will I be doubling up on any content unnecessarily?
I'm looking forward to using this - the parts I've played around with before are absoutely stellar - however the installation process has been nothing short of a headache.
