Sampletank Instruments lost in the ether??

Postby metalmick » Sun Nov 17, 2024 9:18 pm

In desperation I deleted Sampletank completely to try and get everything installed on pc that I have paid IK for. I deleted everything that I can find to do with Sampletank and Syntronik off my pc. The folder I use for Instruments/Samples is completely empty.  Re-installed Sampletank 4. It tells me to reload all my Sampletank instruments. I go to Wurly 120 it says it's 'Installed'. It isn't but it says it is. I check Sampletank, I'm correct, no instruments available. I go back to the product manager Wurly 120 and click Re-Install, it gives me an option for location. I select the empty IK Multimedia sounds folder on my D Drive. In 2 seconds it says it has loaded!! I go to the selected folder and what do I find... a file called Syntronik 2 with a folder inside marked Instruments and a folder inside that one marked JP-8!
I've also just noticed that Product Manager has all 33 Sampletank Instruments showing installed. They are NOT.
I check again on my newly installed Sampletank 4... nothing available. What am I supposed to do? I've just spent more money with Ik today on T-Racks 6, I love the stuff but this installing procedure is a total mess. Anybody out there have any ideas, is there a way to purge my pc and completely reset Product Manager, because at the moment it's toally lost the plot.
