SampleTank 3 - which version do I need to keep

Hello,

I own SampleTank4 MAX and I know I don´t have to install other versions of SampleTank4 anymore.

But I am not sure about SampleTank3. Do I have to keep old libraries?

In the IK "user area/my products" page there is only one ST3 version listet: SampleTank3 SE v3.7.3
But I have downloaded/stored another library in the past: SampleTank 3.7.3 CS

Can I delete the CS version? Or is that content I still need?

Any help is appreciated!

Wich SampleTank 3 Versions do you have to install to have all the sounds from ST3?

Here is my interpretation. If a IKM staff member can confirm that would add some weight to this.

According to the Sampletank 4 overview page (https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/s ... php?p=info), Sampletank 4 V2 max includes “All legacy SampleTank 2 and 3 factory content”.

Yes, that´s right. We may use all the libraries. I am still wondering if the ST3 content is already part of the ST4 MAX libraries downloads.

Or do we still have to install other libraries like the ST3 libraries seperately? And if so: does the SampleTank3 SE v3.7.3 cover all ST3 content?

I got a new external SSD that I bought just for the IK libraries. But I don´t know what content besides everything in the ST4 MAX section I have to install. It would be great if a IK staff member could join in to clarify. I would be really happy to get this done.

I just went to my IKM Products page and looked up the sounds download section for Sampletank 4 Max. Under “Available Sounds for Windows” therein, Sampletank 3 installers (there are 8) are listed there as well.

So, I can say with confidence, that the ST3 content is part of the ST4 MAX libraries downloads.

Thank´s again for helping me Promidi! I just couldn´t get clear about all the versions and packages. So I will just install all the ST4 MAX libraries and I´m fine. So cool!
