Using Sample Tank and iGrand at the same time

If I load Sample Tank and iGrand to play in the background they both play at the same time. How do I switch from one to the other simply so that only one plays (but both are still open in the background). I presume it has something to do with set 1-8 but am having difficulty understanding how to set them both on different channels.
