Is it possible to store the sound libraries in an external hardrive, as SampleTank does?
I was looking for this information but I had no luck.
Thanks!

Yes,
Move the complete installed library to the other disk. Or, if not yet installed, select "Install to ...." in the IK Product Manager. (My Syntronik 2 library is separate from ST4's library.
Then run the stand-alone Syntronik 2 program and select the destination folder in its Preferences.
