Syntronik2 doesn't show all my installed synths (Win10)

Postby fabiolcati » Fri May 06, 2022 9:58 am

Hi All.
A Syntronik 1 & 2 user on Win10, I have Memory-V installed on internal SSD and SY-99 on external (due to lack of storage space).
While SampleTank load them both, only the SY-99 is listed in Syntronik.
Both hosts point to same directories.
Any hint?
Thank you

You can try this from Peter
Anybody with authorization issues or people with the products mentioned above who aren't seeing what they should authorized, please try the following:

Load the IK Product Manager
UNauthorize the Syntronik 2 there
Next, Re-Authorize it again

Custom Shop Application location:
MAC: HD > Applications > Custom Shop
PC: Start > Programs > IK Multimedia > Custom Shop

Load the Custom Shop application from the location above
At the top go to your account name > Restore My Purchases
All your modules, etc should be unlocked.

Or this
There have been some server-side fixes so authorization should be smooth but if you have issues please try the steps below, these should get all of your sounds unlocked for you.

1) Open Syntronik 2 or SampleTank 4
2) Open the Custom Shop
3) Click your User Name in the Custom Shop's upper right-hand corner
4) Select "Restore My Purchases"
5) All sounds should now unlock

If you have any issues beyond that, IK Support can assist.

It may be that the "same directories" is just the name you chose for the folder on the drives.
Possibly the folder you actually point to in Syntronik Settings is understood by Syntronik as a hardware resource location, in which case it would only allow one location. You can navigate to it, and if this gives the reverse effect (the one available is no longer found and vice versa) then maybe that is the case. (I came to find a different answer so I really don't know).
