Strummer- strummed chords still ring

I love the guitars in Sampletank but I have a problem with the strummer. When I create a strumming pattern I can hear hear the chord that was strummed in step 1 still when the chord of step 2 is strummed. That is very unrealistic. I tried to tweak it, turned down the reverb in the effect section and edited the ADSR but did not reach satisfying results. Anyone has an idea?
