Syntronik 2 Max - Minimal presets for new synths

Hi,

I upgraded to Syntronik 2 Max and installed all of the separate synth packages using the IK Product manager. I also went into custom shop and did a "Restore my Purchases". Now that it's installed there are several of the new synths with only a couple of presets (GS-V, Sorcerer, Syner-V and Tryptych only have 1-3 presets). Is that correct? I thought there would be more presets than that for some of the new synths? Could there have been an installation issue? I'm also occasionally seeing the error "Sample Not Found" for a couple of the other synth presets so that doesn't look good either. Anyone have any ideas as to what should my course of action be to correct this? Thanks

From the synth web pages:
GS-V: 191 instrument presets
Sorcerer: 87 instrument presets
Syner_V: 213 instrument presets
Triptych: 99 instrument presets

What can you see on disk for each of these? The Syn2 instruments are .st4i files.

I believe that the individual download files for a synth include the instrument files and the samples. Can you have a look inside one and see what's there?

I think that the Syn2 Browser filtering has some issues, not listing everything it should, but need to explore more.

Thanks for all the detailed info, that helps. I looked at the preset folders for those new synths and I am only seeing a couple of ".st4i" preset files under each folder. So the preset files do seem to be missing for those synths for some reason. The other synths have many .st4i files. For example the Syner-V at the path below only has three .sf4i files. Is there someplace I should download those missing .st4i files from?

Can you look in the download file for Syner_V too? If you do not have it on disk you can get a copy from your User Area / My Products / Syntronik 2 / Sounds Downloads.

Hah! - those three are in the Syntronik 2 CS library. That leads me to think that you have not downloaded / installed the full Syner-V library. Does the IK Product Manager say anything useful?

Thanks, it looks like their might have been some installation error for those synths (even though they show as installed in IKPM). There is only a part1 .zip file for each of them. I'm going to delete the existing part1 zips and try re-downloading and installing them. Thanks again for the help.

This page https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/syntronik2/index.php?p=versions shows the number of presets for most of the synths so you can check. Two synths (Bully and DCO-X) are missing from the list (I informed Support in November about those omissions).
