Am I using SampleTank in a wrong way? [No] [Resolved]

Hi fellas!!

I exported a GuitarPro song as a midi and loaded it in Reaper, then I assigned MODO DRUM and MODO BASS to drums and bass track and it sound marvelous.

My problem coming when I tried to assign the second midi guitar to SampleTank. I load ST as VST3i and VSTi but it not sound. If I play the keyboard it sound but ST not reproduces the midi track.

Any clue?
Does ST works as virtual instrument?

Sampletank indeed does work as a VSTi (VST2 and VST3).

I do this all the time with Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Check the MIDI channels.

As I am not a user of Reaper, someone with more knowledge with Reaper will have to advise.

Yep, it sounds like a MIDI Channel mismatch.

In Reaper, open the clip in the MIDI Editor, change the view to Event List and see ehat MIDI channel the guitar notes are on. Then, in SampleTank, set the MIDI Channel for your guitar instrument to be the same.

I had used the wrong midi channel. I set the right channel and now is working!!
