Syntronik Library shows unauthorized in ST4 but not ST3

Hi,

I have purchased and installed Sample Tank 4 and Syntronik applications and libraries. ST4 has been pointed to library install paths which include ST3 and legacy imported instruments.

When I brows the library's in ST4, each Syntronik instrument is greyed out with the lock icon (unauthorized). However it authorized in the IK Product Manager, they can be seen and loaded in ST3 as well as Syntronik stand alone VST.

Any suggestions as to why ST4 shows them as unauthorized?

Hey just went through this headache myself.

This could be your issue:

On macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Had the free version of Syntronik, the standalone worked just fine, the plugin would not register, even though IK Product Manager/Authorization Manager checked ok.
Problem solved:
Get SampleTank 3 - or
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/sampletank3/

Fully functional free version also available - but it's called SampleTank Custom Shop.

Download, install & register.
Disk path> Machintosh HD/Users/Shared/IK Multimedia/SampleTank 3
Syntronik now works, as standalone, plugin, and in SampleTank 4.

Ps if on windows, just swap the macOS path for the one windows uses.

I resolved my issue by going into custom shop and "Recovering" my gear. They were then all unlocked.

Happens to me too after MacOs upgrade.
Custom Shop recovering works. Thanks mate!
