EDIT: I'm dumb and figured it out. Made a subfolder in "Samples", then copied the .pak
If you have a similar problem, there you go.
Hi there!
I've got an odd problem with adding custom sounds to ST4. I imported a WAV file, essentially a 16-second file, Chromatically, assigned it to C1, and it works fine. The point is to have that loop via pads live.
Once I figured out that this is how it works, I tried again. Through multiple different WAV files, from multiple folders, I cannot get any of them to work. I've tried Chromatically, by name, assigning them to other notes on the keyboard, putting them in sub folders of the Imported Instruments and Imported Samples folders, and every time I get the same error message when I try to load the instrument:
"Instrument ST4 Error. Cannot locate Tank at path 'C:/Users/Public/Documents/IK Multimedia/SampleTank 4/Imported Samples/04 Blizzard/04 Blizzard.pak'."
(for example)
The ST4i files and the .pak files are created every time, so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
I'll send in a ticket as well, but hoping to get some insight here too.
I have the Sample Editor program, which flat out does not work with what I've been doing.
Thank you!
