New Windows 1903 update problem

More update frustration

I have all things running well except Syntronic in sampletank 4 max.
Everything was ok before the new update
strangely all is ok except the Syntronic pathway
I do have Syntronic in it's skin and that works 100%
Now when i choose Sampletank 3 and the pathway which is the same as Syntronic in it's own shell ,somehow Sampletank cannot find the instruments
it says it cannot locate at pathway
It shows the icons on the left and the instruments in the picture window, but when you load it cannot find the path. Strange.

So if it is the same as the Syntronic Pathway it should work in Sampletank on the same pathway

Has anyone come accross this yet?????

Is the problem with the ST4.0.6 update or a Windows update, as in the title of your post? You might need to clarify for people that may have the same issue.

Also, can you let us know the exact paths to the ST4 and Syntronik sound libraries?

You mentioned ST3 in your post - was that a typo? Or are you using ST4, ST3 and Syntronik? IF so, let us know the ST3 sounds library path too.

Everything was hunky dory until i put the Sampletank 4 update and 1903 update in.

I Have Syntronic in its own shell
the pathway is

D:/Sample Tank 3 /Samples/Syntronic.
This works with no problems

I also have a incidence of Sampletank 3
Same pathway and works ok


Sampletank 4

I put the same in

D:/Sample Tank 3/Samples/Syntronic
This is what comes up in a pop up box after choosing an instrument.

Instrument ST4 error. Cannot locate Tank at path 'D:/Sample Tank 3/Samples/53
Syntronic j-60/j-60Pulse 10 pak'.

There must be a bug in here somewhere.
Although i run Cubase with no Sampletank4 Syntronic joy, i tried sampletank 4 and it crashed in Mixcraft but sampletank 3 did not. Both Vst 3.

I wish i knew what is going on here , but i am stumped.
The reason i have not gone to support yet is because it takes an age to get an answer.

Support answers within 1-2 business days and would likely resolve your issue much faster than users who aren't having the same issue (which I don't see chiming in).

How can Syntronic Be ok in its own shell and also Sampletank 3 , but not Sampletank 4

All with the same path.

I have just put a ticket in but it will not be until next week until i get a reply.

I have solved this silly pathway nonsense.
Like Peter replied to someone on KVR that went in circles like me and a funny quirk solved the problem.
what i do know now is that you need two different pathways to get around Syntronic and Syntronic in sampletank 4.
I cannot be the only one to come accross strange pathway problems.
It seems to not recognize ,then recognize .these flaming computers have a mind all of their own and just maybe they are reaching AI at quantum level.
but you do not get a Quantum response from human support.
