Multiple high end samples still causing crackling in 4.0.3

Postby gordon44 » Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:08 am

I originally posted that adding multiple high end samples into sampltank caused pops clicks and cracking in my 2 DAWs (cakewalks bandlab formally sonar, and studio one 4)

Release 4.0.3 has done nothing to change this

I have gone thru every combination of the new streaming option even tried the SSD setting(my sample drive is not SSD) the best result I obtained being when I set both values to the highest options i.e slowest drive setting, and 4096 for the buffer setting - on this test the results were similar to the previous release
The other settings resulted in poorer results than before - being able to add even less instruments into Sampletank before crackling occurs

Very disappointed
Spec - i7 7700 4.20Ghz 16gb ram, Windows 10 home, Focusrite 214i,
Studio One, Sonar(Bandlab)

"Studio one 4" try increasing ASIO Buffer size to min 1024 samples and USB streaming mode relaxed, reliable or safe. I'm using Apogee control panel, mileage may vary. No realtime anything
under your settings for audio.
