emasters wrote:Looks interesting, Peter - a couple questions:
(1) Given the large amount of content with the MAX version, is there a content installer that runs itself (that is push a button, walk away and let it do it's thing - come back later and it's downloaded and installed)? The currently install process for IK content is individual files that are each downloaded separately, and each installed separately. For smaller products, not a problem. But 250 GB of content done this way, would be a bit overwhelming.
(2) Will it be possible to map cross-fading sample layers to the mod-wheel versus the current approach with velocity? I'm thinking for orchestral instrument sustain patches, specifically. I find it challenging to control cross-fades with velocity, and for better-or-worse, am trained now with the mod-wheel.

thats good news!
I use sometimes the legacy VSTis Sampletron, Sonik Synths and many more of the legacy VSTis in ST3 MAX.
Do Sampletron and Co work in ST4 as well?

Now there is sound demos only for pianos and keboards.
I hope you will release sound demos for other individual instruments as well
Also would like to know all the articulations available for bass & guitar.
Thanks!

You will point SampleTank 4 at your existing and imported libraries and they will work.

Peter, for clarification:
(a) if I point ST4 at the ST3 library (including Imported Legacy libraries), how can I use ST4 instruments and ST3 instruments at the same time?
(b) does ST4 have multiple library disk paths?
(c) does ST4 have its own Import functionality (for the legacy (ST2.5) libraries)?
whitealbum wrote:Thanks @DarkStar for detailes questions, because i have to import legacy instruments via ST3 to get the instruments in ST3.
So i suggest there is a similiar function in ST4?
