Guitar strumming pattern question

Hello,

I have an embarrassingly basic question concerning American Acoustic strumming patterns. When I load Arpeggio patterns, they are all in C. How do I load them in any key I want? I'm sure there is a simple way but I cant find it.

I have the same issue. I can't change chords in my strumming mode.. Any answers?

There is a button at the bottom of the player next to the displayed BPM
I imagine you can assign this to some control on your keyboard.
Unfortinately the articulations and key are global. I wish I could pick these for each individual pattern. If you pick patterns, they will be assigned to keys at the left of your keyboard,
so you can switch pattersn by hitting one of these keys. but, like i said
the articulation and key will be switched for all of them if yoiu change it.
There is probably much better ways to control these but I am a rank beginner

I imagine you could switch these various aspects by sending midi commands. .

You can pick different keys and independently switch patterns in multiple separate pads.
I cannot make any sense of the key and pattern switching that can be done in separate pads or "tracks". One think that is confusing too me that the st control surface is multi-dimensional. You can set something in the instrument tab, and associate it with a pattern from the pattern tab..
while you are in edit, mix or play mode, while you have fx or macro mode selected... so there is a ton of simulataneous controls that interact. And BTW if you keep messing with it it will hang eventually, thus discouraging experimentation.

As you all figure out how to use this beast please post. Some of these sample packs should have a tutorial or at least some minimal documentation!

I finally figured ot how to set the key signature for individual patterns associated
with an instrument:

1) Pick an instrument in the instrument tab.

2) Switch to the Pattern tab, and Pick a pattern, e.g.: arpeggio 3 sus. or a strumming pattern .. whatever. Then pick a different one (or the same again if you want the exact same type of chord except in a different key. For this example, pick a third one. This results in 3 control keys added to the left of the keyboard you can use to switch pattern as the pattern is playing.

3) Make sure the "global key selection" (between the "speed" and the "play" button
(bottom right of St3) is NOT set. The default is "not set".
If it is set, click on it and make sure it is set to Off.

4) Given that no global key is set, you can set the key signature for any individual pattern you added via the pull down tab next to the track listing.

The key indicator is the second field from the end of the track listing. By default it shows C(0).

You can change this for each of the selected patterns, using the "mouse slide method"
you use to change the track's midi channel
That is: put the cursor on the field, and hold the left mouse button. Swipe down while holding the button will increment the selection, in this case the key position from c(0) to e.g.:
d(1) etc. You can dial in the desired root note for each pattern independently on a channel or on any other channels.

Again: You can only change the key for the patterns individually if the global setting is not set
