Black LP Full Keyswitch Hammer on

Hi,

Can someone please explain to me, or point me to a video that shows how to control the speed at which the hammer on occurs on the keyswitched guitars such as the one in the title? I'm sure it's obvious, but I can't work it out! Google is useless.

Actually, maybe it is 2 settings? The speed at which the hammer on happens, and the time that the note is held before hammering.
