Severe Lag in Sample Tank 3

Postby gollygeeswell » Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:38 am

Hi, I recorded a track a synth track in cubase 9.5 with sample tank 3 as a vst. At first it was fine, after a few days it went out of sync by a 16th note. Same when I played manually.

Looked on other posts on this form by they seem to address adjusting the buffer in the stand alone version of sample tank 3. There is no buffer adjustment setting in the VST version. Any help would be appreciated.

When using ST3 or any other software as a plug-in in a DAW, it does not have any audio buffer settings. They are controlled by the DAW or by the audio interface Control Panel (if there is one).

Check out those settings in Cubase.

But, do other VSTis play in sync? If not, then that aupports the above. But if they are in sync that suggest something odd on the Cubase track. Have you used and plug-ins that have a latency. Or turned off PDC (Plug-in delay Compensation)?

It might be best to contact Technical Support, here:

for some one to one help (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally).
If you can, send a simple project that shows the problem.
