Can you "record" & save file from the Standalone?

Postby Roxiana » Mon Jan 08, 2018 5:01 pm

Please forgive the lack of basic knowledge here. New to Midi.
I have Miroslav, and it is not integrating with my DAW. but need
one song done soon.
Since the standalone has Mixing & Editing features, how do you "record" or document what your playing in the standalone when not going through your DAW?
How does one save the result? Or is it to play live & hear only?
Again, i may be missing something. Thank you!

Hello Roxiana and welcome to the forum.

Are you using the original MP (32-bit) or the current MP (64-bit, and also known as MP2)?

It should run OK as a plug-in in your DAW. Which DAW are you using and what problem did you run into?

If I played through the MP program, then, with a bit of jiggling around, I could route its audio back from my audio interface into my DAW and record the audio there.

A better solution will be to sort out your MP/DAW operation.

Thank you- it is Garageband 10.2 , in Mac Sierra.

No idea what the routing is to get it to recognize MP sounds.
They dont show up in the software instrument AU units.

Or- how do i route entire Standalone to Garageband?

Sorry, I do not know GarageBand or OSX so cannot help your there. Also, what audio interface are you using?

Someone-else may chime in soon. Or, please raise a Support Ticket here

for some one to one guidance.
