A key technique used on a actual Hammond organ is the pedal thump whereby the bass pedals are hit so briefly you just get a sonic thump (a bit like a kick drum) rather than a recognisable note. Is this possible to achieve with the Hammond B-3X? If so, how exactly? My midi keyboard can't seem to send the note off message quick enough, though perhaps it does and the problem with achieving a very short duration note resides with some other variable.
