Thinking on buying SampleTank 4 MAX v2 - I'm very beginner

Hey guys,

Sorry for this very "noob" question, I know. But happens that I am very new on this "computer music" world and have a lot of questions.

I play piano and have knowledge of music (I think...hehehe). What I would like on this start, well, are sounds. Samples, etc.

I also purchased a MIDI controler and got one limited version of Arturia Analog Lab (Intro). But, I saw today SampleTank 4 MAX v2 and the great offer for it, for US$ 49.99. I am really thinking on buying this one, it seems really amazing.

But I am afraid, due to my lack of knowledge on VSTs, plugins, samplers, etc, etc. Will I be able to properly use it? I am no afraid to read manuals, etc. But, who knows.

Well, thanks in advance for any advice.

ST4 Maxv2 is a great buy at $49. I've used ST since ST2 and always like the sounds. I don't need to tweak the samples often. You'll need a big storage space for all the samples, or be selective in what you download.
I found downloading all the sounds tedious - it took me a week!
Have you got a Digital Audio Workstation? You'll need one to make the most of ST4. Cubase 13 Pro is great, although I don't use all it's features and there are much cheaper DAWs around.

Thanks a lot for your help!

So, I also purchased FL Studio 2024.

Oh, 1 week to download all the sounds! This is really huge!

But, do the software allows us to download just the sounds we want? For example, is there some kind of "player" so we can listen first, before download them?
