Most instruments I've checked seem to use Mods, and these have the unfortunate behavior of not providing visual feedback by moving the parameter on the Effect UI simultaneously when moving the Macro knob.
For instruments with Mods, I can't figure out how to change the Macro knob mappings from Mods to Direct Connections, so I suspect this might have to do with what version of SampleTank the instrument was created for. However, I'm very new to ST4, and I can find no mention of Direct Connections in the PDF manual, and no results showed up searching this forum.
