Sample tank 4 - ADAT? [Resolved]

Can sample tank work standalone? I can get it working in
Cantabile VST HOST, but not standalone.

Yes it can (as long as you selected it during the installation).

Exactly what problem do you have. Without any details we would only be guessing.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to check if it is possible before I went right into it. I'm on windows 7 and using an Maudio FW1814. Works fine in the VST host, but not standalone. All the settings are correct but the Maudio FW1814 is
not getting any signa from sample tank. Amplitube standalone works fine with
the Maudio FW1814.

Have you configured the MIDI input and Audio outputs in ST4 standalone? Check the ST4 User Manual for detials.

Hi Darkstar.
Yes, everything is configured correctly. Exactly the same as for Amplitube, which works fine in standalone. Sample tank is receiving midi, but not outputting any audio. A bit of a head scratcher for sure.

Check the MIDI channel on your keyboard.

What happens when you load an instrument and click the virtual keyboard within ST4?

Hi Darkstar.
All settings including midi are correct. It seems that standalone doesn't like Adat. Fine as a plugin, but it won't output to the 1814 Adat in standalone . I changed the settings to analogue out and it worked fine.
Amplitube works with Adat as a plugin, and standalone.

I'm glad that you have got it sorted out.

It would be worth letting Technical Support know that ADAT works for AmpliTube but not for SampleTank, so that they can investigate.
