Hammond B-3x transposing issue

Postby Lpsouth » Thu May 13, 2021 3:35 pm

Hi all, hoping i'm missing something obvious and that theres a simple solution to this.

Im running the Hammond B-3x plug-in through Logic on a Roland E09 keyboard, and it sounds amazing. However, I cant get it to play the low C note, it cuts off below the low D. Transposing up or down just moves the scale up or down, but doesnt give me that low C.

I can reach that note on other synths/piano plugins, but not on the hammond.

Any advice hugely appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Lpsouth and welcome to the forums.

Although I'm not using the same keyboard, I have no problems with the lowest C (C1) sounding using B-3X with Logic.

When you press the key, does the MIDI monitor in Logic show that it is receiving C1?

Does the same issue happen in the standalone version? That would help ascertain if it might be a Logic problem rather than the B-3X.
