Just got the Axe i/o and works perfectly with iPad Pro 3rd Gen. Both channels record independent as well on my daw. Not sure if they made a update, but I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Paul, I'm assuming you're asking about the digital to analog converter (DAC) and the analog to digital converter (ADC). It's on the product spec page:

Thanks, dlgebert!

So I'd like to know if the AXE can handle an high impedance headphone or I should get a dedicated amp... :?:

I use Sony MDR-7506 headphones and they are rated at 63 Ohms and at 1/4 headphone volume, the AXE I/O is plenty loud with no distortion.

What is your headphones' impedance?

Thanks again, Dave! ;)

My headphones' impedance is 250 Ohms... :?

Well at least you know the AXE I/O won't overpower your headphones... it would up to you to try it out and see how it sounds...

I'm using 250ohm headphones. I've never turned the headphone volume knob past 3:00. I'm positive you'd have enough volume even with 600ohm cans.

Hello all,

I have the Axe I/O and there are 2 external control (switch/pedal 1 & 2) ins at the back of my device.
I'd like to have pedalboard controller connected to one of these. The iRig Stomp I/O seems to be perfect for this though I have some questions:

- is it possible to connect to the axe and not via USB (to the computer) ?
- I read that iRig Stomp I/O is much more than a pedalboard. Is using it as such an error about all this product can offer ?
- what would you recommend to have my Axe I/O working with a pedalboard (switches and expression pedal) to control Amplitube in my DAW ?

Best regards

Hello,

I have one more question: is it possible to connect the iRig Stomp I/O to my computer with a usb-C cable ?

Thank you

Hello Goupil70 and welcome to the forum.

As this is primarily a user to user forum, someone-else may chime in. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is raise a Support Ticket, here for some one to one investigation and help (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally). Response time is usually within 2 working days, but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

Anyone have experience with iLoud Micros? I'm really consodering a small studio setup and am sold on the iLoud micros. However they lack low end (by reviews I have read). So I thought about buying iLoud Micros + iLoud portable speaker (for low end). Good or bad idea? Any other options for small setups?krogerfeedback.com survey

iLoud Micro Monitors have a bass response down to 55Hz and the DSP control creates a very tight and controlled low end. Most reviews I've seen don't complain about low end and I have two sets that do very well. They're not going to be the same as 8" monitors and/or a subwoofer but they are suprisingly good with low end. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/i ... ?p=reviews

Hello,
I'm considering to buy this product, but I'd like to ask some questions to be sure it fits my needs:

- Is it ASIO/MME multiclient? In other words, would I be able to play inside my DAW while playing a non-asio source (e.g. YouTube) in the background? I own a well-known usb audio card which doesn't allow this, and it's quite frustrating.

- Is it ASIO/ASIO multiclient? In other words, would I be able to use two DAWs concurrently, or perhaps Amplitube and another similar ASIO software at the same time? [This is not crucial for me as much as the first]

- I know you won't give support about it, but does it support audio playback in Linux? I don't care about using a DAW or recording guitar in linux, I just need to use the AXE I/O as a standard usb audio card to drive my monitors on Linux as I plan to use this card to fully replace my motherboard audio card, and I use both linux and windows for work.

I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I struggle finding other places with so many AXE I/O owners :)
Thanks in advance.
