# Volume boost when I turn off cab in Tonex Editor

When I turn off the Cab in Tonex Editor, the volume gets noticeably louder. This happens with clean presets but even more with drive or distortion. It also happens when I disable cabs Globally. I just purchased the Brown Sound 78/79 collection and it happens there too. I guess because it’s louder (Fletcher/Munson Curve?) everything seems to sound better with the Cab disabled. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on? Thanks!
