Hi. I’m experimenting with SampleTank 4 Steel String F guitar, and also with Classic Guitar 1 from Miroslav Philarmonik 2. I’m trying to find a way to slide gently between two notes, as if using a slide guitar.

I usually employ Ample Sound’s Ample Guitar M Lite, which has a nice feature called “Legato Slide”, which you can activate “playing” an inaudible note (E0) before the two notes you want to traverse. I’ve found a similarly named macro (Legato) in Steel String F, but it doesn’t seem to work as I expect.

Any suggestions? Is it possible to use these SampleTank / Philarmonik guitars in this way?

Thank you.

do you have an example of what you mean by slide? slide could be many things, it could be pitch shifting, it could be metal against strings on a finger, it could mean sliding one or multiple fingers on strings, etc. maybe an audio example woudl be better to show what you want? heck, if its simple enough i can just record it and send it to you

Hi, skinnygriftin.

Well, as Brian May once said, I want it all and I want it now 🙂

What I can achieve with Ample Sound Guitar M and very little effort is to slide just one finger on one string. I’m happy with that at the moment, but I can’t achieve it with SamplTank 4’s Steel String F Guitar.Guitar.

I’ll upload an example (mp3), if I can figure out how to do that.
