# Tonex for Dummies

Hello my name is Pete and I need some assistance with Tonex. Ive had Tonex for over a year and I have not quite figured it out. First do I need Amplitube 5 SE, Tonex Editor and Tonex SE 2.0.2? When I try to play Tonex 2 I cannot control or hear anything from the software. Its all on the pedal and I cant get it to switch. I did get it to work once but it sounded like a reverb pedal was running even though it showed it was off. Ive had success playing with the Editor but I cannot figure how to add distortion pedal or find the one thats mentioned on the preset. Seems like I moved forward to fast and have confused myself. What would be a way to start over? Im up for recommendations. Anyone know of a good basics video. I get frustrated and put my guitar down after 20 minutes and it sucks. Any assistance will help.
