# ToneX Board Firmware 1.1.0 Thread

Thought I’d start this here as that way it has a topic to itself so any new issues don’t get lost in the pile.

Good things - Most of it! Most of the bugs I noticed have been squished, USB audio is working great, whole device seems a smidge more responsive. The Tube Overdrive and Octadrive can now actually be used with other things in the chain, and the external switch can turn things on again rather than just off. Excellent.

Bad things - Expression pedal input seems to need more smoothing, it’s very ‘steppy’ when used with things like the wah and you can clearly hear the steps between values rather than a smooth curve. Tried three different expression pedals and recalibrating etc, still the same. It seems to be better for the first sweep after a recalibration, then goes back to being weird again.

Hopes for the future - Pleeeeeeease can we have more MIDI functionality, even just some MIDI macros and bank up/down would transform the Board.

Thanks IK! Love the new update, awesome changes and quality of life improvements, all the new features/changes are working correctly so far.

There’s still an issue with the CC 035, CC 036, CC 037 MIDI commands, that as stated in the manual should trigger the Footswitches A, B and C, but currently that doesn’t work yet. I can see that they are received correctly using the MIDI Monitor, but they don’t trigger the foots. All other supported MIDI commands work correcly, but I would also love to have more of them 🙂

EDIT: Changing the option Settings-\>Global-\>Footswitch to ‘‘Press’’ solves this issue and I can trigger the footswitches via MIDI, however since we don’t hava e MIDI command for Bank up/down yet we lose this function.

Keep those updates coming, I’m loving the Tonex Board so far, very satisfied with my purchase!
