# Tonex 2.1.0.0 Not Booting

I have reinstalled ,updated Windows did the sfc /scannow and DISM procedures

and keep getting the following fault

Solved ; I had copy my Tonex folder from Documents to another drive,then uninstalled Tonex completely .I used Revo Uninstaller Pro and cleared everything including all registry links .Finally I got it working.

I have the same issue, tried reinstalling from scratch, downloaded 2.1.1 but nothing opens, no editor, no VST, no stand alone. had to manually install 1.13 now all user folders are gone, no v2Tone models. Zero response from support. The User area is a shopify page that only lists manuals in the downloads option.

I was stuck because TONEX wouldn’t launch after updating to 2.1.0, but I managed to fix it.

In my case, the cause was .txp files with characters like ö, é, or ü in their names.

Hope this helps someone.
