In 2.0.4 the Amp Model browser still disappears if I click on an effect. I would hope that there is a way to keep to Amp Model browser open until I close it.

Definitely agree, I don’t mind the browser windows but I really do wish they’d just stay open once open, having them flick on and off when clicking other things is a bit irritating.

@Peter-IK Is there any timeframe yet for when the the first full release of 2.0 will be? It’s almost a month now since the major announcement of 2.0, will 2.0 be released in the same timeframe as the Board editor (Q4)? Or will these be separate releases?

Website says **October 1** , when **TONEX Player 2.1** is officially released. Full real-time editing in **TONEX Board Editor** will be implemented in Q4 2026.

Just checked, in the Board version of the ToneX beta you can definitely set up stereo inputs with completely separate paths if required or a single path if you don’t, or a partial split path merged into one stereo path, etc, so it’s definitely in the works.
No idea if the Board version of ToneX is going to be the default version, a paid upgrade or only for Board hardware owners though. We’ll find out in October I suppose, haha.

It would be wild if it didn’t. As so many amp sims, and Nam players, have stereo input processing now. I know IK can figure it out for Tonex.

Finally getting around to going through the new presets for Tonex Max.
Why are the Drive presets so loud? many of them are in the red… unsurprisingly the cleans are ok, but also overwhelming majority of the Hi Gains are not as loud as the Drive presets… It is mostly just the Drive presets that are overshooting red..
Anyone else seeing this?

Any word on whether the new TONEX board functionality will be available to users that have TONEX Max and Amplitube MAX (but not the board itself) when the rollout of the post-beta comes out?

Yes Derek, I’m having this issue too. It’s like select presets within collections I purchased are responding as if I haven’t paid for the product, that it’s a demo version. Refreshing doesn’t work. If you figure this out, please let me know! Very frustrating. This is happening on many, many of my presets

Hi Peter, do you know anything about this issue, in which many presets of larger collections owned respond as if they are not, often with buy/try pop-up with periodic white noise?

I don’t, this would have to be handled through IK Support so they can look at your specific setups etc. Please reach out to support if you haven’t done so already and they’ll surely take care.

Bug report.
When in Preset Broswer, clicking on the Cab icon brings up the Cab/IR browser. When clicking back on the Amp icon, the Tone Model browser opens instead of the previously open Preset browser.

I think the problem is that if you happen to click on any model/preset you don’t own, the intermittent noise that comes with those carries over even if you move to one you do own. I see this when I click on any of TONEX board presets that got added. Only way to fix it that I’ve found is to close TONEX and re-open it
