# How to transfer Tonex Plug patches to Tonex Pedal?

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

So for the most part I use the plug for quiet practice and then the pedal I dabble with at rehearsal and hoping to start taking to some shows where I can get away with a light setup.

I did one of these shows and it was a success - basically found some patches via Tonenet and some from preinstalled patches, took out the cabs and tweaked them a bit, and loaded them on the pedal and played live thru my tube amp combo.

Now, I need more of these for some new songs that I’ve started on the plug. I have the plug patches saved and would like to transfer them to to pedal and do the same thing. I am running the Android software on the plug and managed to save those patches, so now - how do I get them to show up on the Tonex editor to load on the pedal?

Hi!

You can just connect the Tonex Plug via USB and use the same Tonex Editor software in your PC to transfer the patches between the devices as you want. The easiest route would be: Save your Tonex Plug patches to a folder using Tonex Editor then just connect the Tonex Pedal afterwards and copy those presets to the unit.
